This collection embodies wabi-sabi, celebrating the beauty of natural imperfection and timeworn character. Crafted from reclaimed alder wood with a shou sugi ban-inspired finish and irregular slate, each piece reveals the raw essence of its materials. The charring process, inspired by the Japanese technique, involves lightly torching the wood’s surface to enhance its grain and durability, adding a rich, textured finish.

The slate is sourced from nearby quarries, hand-selected and transported down steep terrain by zipline, preserving each slab’s unique integrity. Together, these materials create timeless pieces that embrace the quiet elegance and authenticity of natural craftsmanship.
